A pretty little 1920s Erivan rug from Armenia, central Caucasus.
Camel field with all over design, walnut and pale blue borders. It is intriguing to see how the weaver has struggled with getting the medachyl border to turn the corners. We love it when we find little irregularities - genuine marks of the maker.
Slight wear in places, fabric hanging tape top end verso.
Supplied with grip tape to stretch out the slight bumps.
