A distinguished and unusual Kazak rug from the early 20th century or late 19th century. We have lovingly restored it from a very worn condition in which much of the dark brown pile had corroded. The mends are darns rather than professional reweaves of the pile but the rug now works visually and has enough structural integrity to be put back into use. With bold motifs and glowing colours, it will pull a space together.
