A fine early 20th century kilim from Matatya in eastern Anatolia.
Ivory diamond medallion within a dark blue surround and diagonal bands in the spandrels. Orange woven ends.Terracotta, brown and dark blue motids on camel field.
Wavy edges, some loss to one end but overall good condition for its age.
A tape to verso which allows it to be hung from a wall as a decorative piece.
