A very attractive antique 1920s runner from north west Persia with subtle colouring and classic design motifs.
Pink/terracotta field with central row of variously coloured octagons each with a hooked medallion within. Various filler ornaments. Ivory angular motifs in main border and pale green flowerhead guards.
Overall even wear with colour run in a couple of places. Lacking outer guard at lower end.
