A 1930s Kurdish village rug from northwest Persia.
Dark blue field with two large lobed medallions and half medallions extending out of the field. Inner medallions with star centres, midblue main border of stepped medallions, red and brown boteh guards.
Overall even wear, slight loss to ends.
